November 1, 2007: Opening of the Biloxi Bay Bridge
Destroyed by Hurricane Katrina in 2005, the Biloxi Bay Bridge in Mississippi connects Biloxi with Ocean Springs, a vital connection on the coastline. On this day, two lanes of six (final completion in April 2008) were opened and swarms of motorcyclists from the coastal areas gathered to cross as a united group, including a number of Dixie Angels!
