The founder and president of our chapter, Renee, officially stepped down from her position on Saturday, April 20 at a regular meeting. Thanks Renee ... you've given us the wings to fly together and we appreciate your efforts over the years! Pam, our VP, has stepped up as Interim President.
Also, it's April, which means it's "Check Your Helmet Month!"

I've added the pictures from our February meeting, which started at a Member's house for final planning for our ride to the WITW Winter Nationals and then riding to the Biloxi Hard Rock Cafe.

What an exciting ride and participation in the Winter Nationals ... there is no doubt that that the Dixie Angels made themselves known at this event! 10 members left on Thursday, February 28 for the first leg of the 620 mile journey to Cocoa Beach, FL and arrived at 1 p.m. on Friday. While we started out in very cold weather, we were pleased to see that upon our arrival, the temps were climbing and the place was already rocking with WITW members from as far away as Ontario, Canada. We'll be posting more about our ride, along with pictures, but here's the group shot that makes our heart sing!

The Dixie Angels are getting super excited as the WITW Winter Nationals approach! We'll be riding 620 miles one way as a group (10 riders) with a chase vehicle "just in case." Can't wait to say hi to everyone!

We've just added pictures from the opening of the Biloxi Bay Bridge on November 1st ... a monumental event here on the coastal Gulf!
